Introduction
Youth’s social participation involves efforts for organizing youth for a shared problem, en-
gaging in social groups with the adult’s’ guide and interacting with them in intergenerati-
onal partnerships (Checkoway, 1995; Rajani, 2001; Sherrod, Torney-Purta and Flanagan,
2010).
This definition is also involving the core of the social participation activities. These im-
portant activities shape the young’s perceptions about society and play a crucial role in
becoming proper citizens. Social participation functions as a mechanism for the unity,
interaction, development and contribution. But with the socio-economic differences, mo-
tivational - structural effects, political conditions and ordinary issues of everyday life is
preventing youth participation in this mechanism.
