Introduction
The use of new media is increasing day by day along with improvements in information
and communication technologies. Rapid developments in information technologies and
new media affect many fields and force these fields to change. Education can be accep-
ted as one of these fields. Turkey is trying to keep pace with these developments through
Fatih Project (Ekici and Yılmaz, 2013, p.318), which aims to integrate information and
communication technologies with education and sophisticates education with the use of
smart boards, tablets and computers in schools. Efforts to increase the quality of formal
education through the facilities of information and communication technologies, beyond
traditional teaching methods, undoubtedly include the education of gifted students and
this constitute an important dimension of education. It is of particular importance to utilize
