At this stage, it is pertinent to remind a particular verse:
"Indeed, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to avert [people] from the way of
Allah. So they will spend it; then it will be for them a [source of] regret; then they will be
overcome. And those who have disbelieved - unto Hell they will be gathered" (Surah
Al-Anfal, Verse 36)
Such games constitute an impediment for people to get to know Islam as sent by
Allah. Created through video games, this image of Muslims is about committing
murders, Muslims killing Muslims, stealing cars, robbing people, engaging
in woman trafficking and committing adultery. This is a process of murder
legitimizing the perception operations carried out to turn haram (forbidden) to
halal (permissible).
It is time to expose such subconscious efforts and lay them bare. Muslims must
introduce a type of control mechanism against such hostility towards the Islamic
world.
